I have chosen to exhibit en route IV, from my new roadkill series. THe frame/support i found in a dumpster. I cleaned out bits of the mirror, sanded and primed the masonite board with gesso. The frame itself was already lacquered, so i coated it in an oil based latex primer. The image depicts a fox carcass on the side of interstate 89 north. the background imagery has been abstracted into shades of red with sections of the underpainting and glazed over wiped off turpentine showing through.
