Product Details
Plein air painting created on deadman’s pass trail in boynton canyon, Sedona, AZ, of Kachina Woman. This is considered a powerful vortex.
I was reminded of Walks Tall Woman, the 11th moon cycle clan mother from native America tradition, as I was painting this, and also likened her figure to Navajo sand painting deities. She represents strength in vulnerability as well as persistence needed to accomplish tasks on behalf of her clan.
