My solo show “Enchanted Skies – Cloudscapes Across the New Mexico Landscape” debuts July 11, 2026 at Legends of the West Fine Art Gallery, in the heart of Santa Fe. The opening reception is from 4-6pm and you can view the collection through the month of July during gallery hours!
The show is the result of several years visiting Ghost Ranch, Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs, Santa Fe, and all the spots in between, witnessing the Land and Sky in conversation with my own heart. For this series specifically, I wanted to create a connection between heaven and earth, and remind viewers that God speaks through nature. The expansion of sky, impermanence of clouds, mirroring of moon, and enlightenment of sun sheds its teaching across the mesas, high desert sage, valleys, mountains, and water ways. I pay tribute to the tribes that have lived here for centuries, who have shown us how to live in harmony with Earth. Georgia O’Keefe also comes to mind, with her curiosity, love for the land, and impact on modernism and woman artists.
When Kristen the Gallery owner and director approached me about a charity function occurring just days before the show, she mentioned hospital staff seeking art, specifically sunsets, to uplift cancer patients during their hospitalization. Having spent my own time in the medical system, I couldn’t think of a more profound way for this art to make its way into the lives of others. Each title carefully reflects Hope and Grace.
